Start-up: CxOs & Adolescents

When I was thinking of life after graduation, I knew I wanted to devote my time to building for the country - particularly for adolescents to access the opportunities that could help propel them forwards, both personally and professionally.

 

I launched a start-up that connected 30+ CxOs with adolescents and young adults called FEEL - the Foundation for Education, Empowerment and Living. The program catered to over 1500 students in its time who took one or more modules under the program.

 

I onboarded CxOs by sending cold-emails requesting them to join the network, and bootstrapped the program through book royalties. It was simply on the perceived merit of the program that so many schools and leaders joined hands with this initiative and help it reach success in its 2 short years.

 

I eventually closed it due to Covid-19 restrictions, and the desire to build similar resources at national scale through the DPI approach.
